Disgaea S.S.S. Forum

Allright, while i haven't heard any news from Doc on whether or not we are going to go through with this (He's been sucked back into EVE Online again as his primary interest) i figured we may as well try to start gathering ideas on possible one-shot episodes or basic plot arcs

Now I’ll admit I’ve never played a Disgaea game or seen any of the shows or whatever, so forgive me for being a bit biased on a few things. But from what i am aware we have three characters available at current, as well as possibly two other ones which i have been shown in the past that have either been removed or simply not shown recently, I’ll do my best to list them off now, but I’m horrible with names, so we may need to come up with temporary names for the lot of them.

Ok so for characters, as far as i know we've got

Noted characters

"Red" Fighter: usual dim-witted strong guy who carries a big sword despite the obvious safety violations in doing so, best described as a "human" but apparently a "Demon" as are all the other characters that i am aware of. He seems intent on defeating the demon lord and/or mastering extremely powerful moves and abilities with little to no success. Has red hair.

"Peng"uin: or "prinny" as they are apparently called. Snarky, sarcastic, lazy and selfish, most likely hangs out with the Red fighter either because he feels sorry for Red, finds Red's antics amusing, or is using Red as an unknowing bodyguard. Most likely a self-proclaimed genius, finds friendly companionship with the Elf, most likely as the only other "sane" member of the group.

Elf: female elf sorcerer (?) who, like Peng, is likely a self-proclaimed genius with a know-it all attitudes and a flair for dramatic entrances slash looking cool. Most likely often mocks Red behind his back with Peng, probably stays with the group because she has nothing better to do. (Possibly one of the demon lords generals? i think i was told she had something to do with the demon lord.)

"removed"(?) characters

"Blue" Rogue: Female "human" with an annoying habit of never saying anything ever, expressing herself majorly in expressions and emoteicons. i believe she may be a rogue due to a previous video/plotline i was shown/told of depicting her and Red arguing over who was the tank, Red due to his high defence and hitpoints, or her due to her high Dextarity and dodging capability (Which was then confirmed by an explosion which she was able to dodge entirely) However she appears dressed in a white/blue dress, which may indicate some form of magical class. Like Red, her hair matches her me-given nickname, so her hair is blue.

"Ninja": freaking ("human") ninja.

Now mind you these last two have not made an appearance in anything i have been shown lately and seemed to exist in an MMO-type world whereas the recent video you all have likely seen due to my post on the giant boards seems to indicate more of a game-like-world-they-just-live-in like the order of the stick. I’m not sure at the moment of posting we are working with, but i will bring it up next time i speak to Doc, (and Doc, if/when you read this could you please correct anything i may have made an error out of? thanks.)

Now with all this in mind, I’d like to begin throwing out basic ideas for things that can happen that could be used for jokes or possible plot hooks, it doesn’t need to be big mind you, just simple things along the lines of "they start a quest that leads them to treasure X" And if possible, then we can try to build on those ideas and merge them together into something that resembles a basic joke/episode/plot. From there we can trim the fat a few times, and with any luck we will have the script to a new/first episode.

so yeah, TL;DR: Basic planning phase, go ahead and throw out any ideas you may have and we'll see if we can't sculpt them into something cool.
